In the first quarter of 2025, the top business finance and solutions apps on the Android platform in Kenya showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

M-PESA for Business from Safaricom PLC experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 8.3K in early March. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users rising from 196K to over 215K by the end of the quarter.

BillUp: Easy Invoice Maker had a significant surge in downloads early in the quarter, reaching over 10K in mid-January. However, downloads gradually declined, stabilizing around 1.1K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 12.7K before settling at 9.3K.

Kopo Kopo - Payments and Loans saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 2.9K in late January. The app maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter.

PayPal Business maintained consistent downloads, hovering around 1.7K to 2K weekly. Active users showed a slight fluctuation, ranging from 7K to 7.5K, indicating stable user engagement.

Accounting App - Zoho Books showed a consistent download trend, starting at 1.5K and maintaining similar numbers throughout the quarter. Revenue saw mild fluctuations, peaking at $84 in early March. Active users increased slightly, ending the quarter at over 5K.
